Finger Problems Please Help?

my mom recently have been having problems with her fingers. Some of her fingers are not able to flex all the way(stops at a C shape position). If she forces it, it then becomes locked and has to somewhat painfully force it to open again with the other hand.

Just today she has slightly "jammed" her index finger (that had no problems before) against a door and now her index finger is now affected the same way as her other fingers. She felt very sharp pains and couldnt flex it.

I do not believe it is a sprained finger.

She does work a nail and spa and she does do massages sometimes.
