Plumbing backing up in our basement?

We moved into our first house this summer and the plumbing keeps backing up. There is a kitchen sink in the basement, and whenever I use the washing machine or dishwasher it backs up and the sink overflows. I have called Roto Rooter three times and all they ever do is send out teenagers who tell me I need to run my garbage disposal more. They use a snake and then leave five minutes later only to have the same thing happen again. And they charge me $100 every time they do this and the problem is never fixed. I recently had a plumber sent out by our home warranty company to fix our garbage disposal and he said it sounds like we may have tree roots which have grown into our pipes. He recommended I call Roto Rooter but they refuse to rooter the pipes, they just keep running a snake down the pipes and leaving. Can I call any plumber to rooter the pipes? Any other ideas? Thanks.

Call a different plumber - one that can run the new cameras down your main line and identify the source of your problems.
Could be roots or worse yet a collasped main line.
