Overheating Economic Climate Forces China Interest Rate Hike
The first China interest rate hike since 2007 caught analysts by surprise and knocked the world's markets off-kilter. Just a small increase in interest rates is likely to hurt in China since the economy is used to the super low rates of interest. China's over-reliance on excess investment may be hurt with the China cost hikes, based on Pettis. In 2012, the communist leadership alter could take place in China. This is unlikely although it's something China needs.

what are the disadvantages of non-rising stem valves?
In addition to much more complex internals...
Visually determining the amount a valve is opened or closed may be limited. Compared to a rising stem that can easily be see from a distance a non-rising stem (on larger valves) is fitted with a moving indicator on the valve stem that lines up with a scale mounted to the bonnet. Due to its smaller size and location on the valve it may not be visible fom all directions and might not be easily viewed from a distance.
