What is the function of a bypass DRV valve?
Hi everyone. I am looking at a heating system which has a flow and return pipe. Across the flow and return pipes is a three port mixing valve which moves to keep the return temperature above 60degC. My question is why is there another bypass between the flow and return pipe with a double regulating valve in it and what is its purpose?
