I have read at several forums including the one below, about combining a good CPL filter with LPL filter to achieve a variable ND effect. My question is NOT whether this is advisable or not.
I simply want to know if this kind of assembly is possible with "screw-on" type of filters?
Wont the outer (LPL) filter become loose if it is rotated? (basic question, may be stupid?)
Do I need a coupler of some kind?
Assumption: all filters are 58mm diameter (screw-on type) and lens is also 58mm diameter.
