i have a 10.6v 12.6v dc lion battery and i need a electrical output control?
so that i can control the speed of a 12v brushless water pump basiclly to control the speed of a spining motor to increase or decrase speed, i would like a dial type control like one comonly found on a volume nob on a radio or a sliding one a perfect example is like the ones found on some volume control headphones and the common house dimmer but thats too clunky and ac powered, so if you know what im talking abaut your help would be apreciated thanks.
you just need a variable resister big enough to handle the power required by the pump
the reason 'common house dimmers' are clunky is they have to be big enough to handle the power
I guess first I'd be concerned if you battery can provide enough power to run a water pump.
If you, then you need to know how much current the pump will draw from the battery. That determes the wattage of the variable resister you need.
